The lines are dirt and water repellent and protect against mould and rot. The lifespan of a Frenky Lewis leash is therefore very long: it will last a dog's life, provided the dog does not sink its teeth into the rope.

The rope of our lines is developed from the same principles as climbing rope: strong, reliable and dirt-repellent. The fastening clips have a breaking force of no less than 240 kg and are therefore safe to use for strong dogs. Each belt is tested and rigorously inspected by our workshop.

The nylon rope we use is specifically designed for our dog leashes. Where most dog leashes are made of 12 to 18 strand rope, our leashes consist of 48 strand rope. This fine weave provides depth in the colours, a luxurious look and a fine hand feel.
